The Harry Lyman Koopman Collection, 1819-1957.

Includes correspondence, notes, manuscripts, and autographs of mostly 19th and 20th century English and American authors. Also includes Sherman's correspondence with booksellers, publishers, and printers relating to the book arts, etc. The collection is divided into 3 sections: Ms. 52 (letters and manuscripts collected by Philip Sherman); Ms. 55 (autograph letters to Sherman from distinguished persons); Ms. 56 (letters from printers, publishers, booksellers, collectors, professional friends, etc.; Sherman's notes for lectures, etc.).
